INTRODUCTION

WELCOME to CORON DIVERS your local and only friendly Filipino dive center in the whole islands of Calamianes Group of Island, Palawan. 

Coron Divers is located in the heart of Coron Town which and operated by the Professional Dive Instructor Arni I. Pabelonio with his Filipino Staff and PADI Instructors/Divemaster. 

Coron Divers offers PADI dive courses from basic to professional, kayaking, island hopping and the only dive center which offers: HELMET DIVING SEA WALKER, this Helmet diving is good for those who can’t swim but wanted see the underwater world by bare foot walking.

MEET THE OWNER

Arni Pabelonio

He graduated in MSU-IIT with the Degree of Physical Education and post graduated in Philippine Normal University

with the degree of Master of Arts in Physical Education. 

He was a former Provisionary 2LT of Philippine Army, 1st Infantry TABAK Division. He was also an active member of Alpha Phi Omega, Gamma Chi chapter and civic organization in Coron Palawan.

He started his PADI scuba diving in King Abdulaziz Naval Base (A UN Forces Base), Saudi Arabia in the year 1992 and started teaching in 1998 until present. He left Saudi Arabia along with Otto Putz and Brigitte Janzen and came to coron in Sept 2000, where he started working with Pearly Shell Diventure, Discovery Resort and Seadive Resort as a dive manager. He left Seadive in Nov 2006 and started to put up his own diveshop named CORON DIVERS. It was fully established on January 29, 2007. 

Since then Arni upgraded his own dive center from 3 sets of diving equipment to 28 sets of diving equipment and not to mention from 6 cylinder tank to 130 cylinder tanks. This was thru his prayers and effort along with his family. 

At present he is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor which specialized in Wreck Diving, Night Diving, Deep Diving, Nitrox Diving, Emergency First Response Instructor and Multi Level Diving.

He was also involved in Galleon Exploration with Discovery Channel under the supervision of Capt Steve Morgan and formerly in-charge of Recompression Chamber in Seadive.

He was also a guides of formerly Philippine Pres Gloria M Arroyo and cabinet members for twice when they visited Coron and came out in local TV shows such as Knowledge Power (By Ernie Baron), Born to Be Wild, I-Witness, Trip na Trip, BBC World (Last Woman Standing and Blue Planet as a safety diver).
